Saizō Uchiha

Saizō Uchiha ( 団扇 才蔵 , Uchiha Saizō) also known as Konoha's Shadow Demon (木の葉の影鬼, Konoha no Kageoni), is a missing-nin and formerly a renown Konohagakure jōnin from the Uchiha clan. He is a survivor of the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

Appearance

A young Saizō

Saizō is a tall, lightly-skinned man with slate onyx eyes and long, unkept black hair, which he keeps up with a blue ponytail, with long fringes parted on the sides of his face, roughly framing his cheeks. Slender, yet fairly muscular, he is purpoted to be fairly handsome, and is shown to be very popular among his female peers in Konoha. He dons the standard uniform Konohagakure-nin regular forces, complete with a flack jacket, with his old uchiha shirt underneath. In his youth, Saizō's attire consisted of black Uchiha shirt and pants, complete with a weapons pouch. As an ANBU operative, he wore the standard Konoha ANBU uniform during missions, albeit without a mask, which he openly disdained, much to the chargrin of his superiors.

Personality

Saizō is the strong silent type. He speaks only if necessary, but when he does, he often says something important. He appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit, and generally maintains an outwardly professional demeanor. Well-spoken and somewhat graceful, Saizō is respectful to only those he deems worthy, and loyal and friendly only to a select few. He is purpoted to have a dry sense of humor, and is universally calm, collected, and in control. He can, however, still be frustrated and caught off his guard at times, although this rarely happens.
Moral and dedicated, Saizō is honor-bound to protect as many people as he can, and devotes his life to protecting those in need, putting the matters of others before his own, and is unconcerned with his own well-being. As a Konohagakure jōnin, he is idolized across Konoha by aspiring shinobi. However, beneath the silence, Saizō is still outraged and disgusted over the events that caused the death of Sakumo Hatake during the Third Shinobi World War, and appears to still mourn the loss of his fallen friend.
He is shown to have little to no respect for the Uchiha clan, showing no regard for them, likely due to his knowledge of their inner workings and corruption. The only exceptions to this was his younger brother, Kotarō.

Powers & Abilities

Genius Intellect: When Saizō was younger, he was hailed as a child genius. He was highly proficient in his classes at the Ninja Academy and graduated in a single year with the highest written and performance scores in each of his tests. His skill was already evident at a young age when he mastered his clan's rite of passage jutsu - Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, and kekkei genkai, the Sharingan, shortly after graduating. He has been called many things because of this. His teammates, Sakumo and Jiraiya, have called him a prodigy and his teacher, Danzo, has called him "the most gifted Uchiha since Madara".
Great Speed: Saizō is probably best known for his tremendous speed and mastery of the Body Flicker Technique. Having been the instructor of the "Body Flicker" Shisui Uchiha, he is easily one of the most proficient users of this skill in all of Konoha. In battle, Ryoga has shown great enough reflexes to dodge point-blank attacks unscathed.
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Saizō has been shown to be a very proficient taijutsu practicioner, possessing considerable masterful skill in the style of Strong Fist. His fighting technique is incredibly destructive and unpredictable, using his speed and reflexes to quickly take out his opponents. He is also shown to be highly proficient in the use of the Eight Chakra Gates, despite rarely seen using it.
Genjustu Master: Saizō has shown to rely mostly on genjutsu in battle, rarely resorting to physical attacks. He is known as Konoha's expert in the field, capable of casting complex and intricate illusions with a mere gesture.
Ninjutsu Expert: Saizō's skill in the ninja arts are immense, able to use various techniques with great efficiency and skill successively to formidable effect. Repeatedly in battle, he has shown himself to be highly proficient in the use of the Shadow Clone Technique and conventional Fūinjutsu, among others.
Elemental Jutsu Master: Saizō has displayed a vast knowledge of high level elemental ninjutsu techniques, able to cast several in quick succession with almost no effort. His teacher, Danzo, attributes this to his excellent chakra control. He has been shown to use A-rank water-style jutsu without a nearby water source and still possessing formidable power; and fire, earth, and wind-based techniques with devastating effect. He was also shown to possess advanced knowledge and skill in synchronised collaboration jutsu.
Weapons Expert: As a successor of the Uchiha, Saizō is well-versed in the clan's weapon-based techniques. His skills are said to be very versatile, able to use various bladed weapons with high proficiency.
Expert Strategist and Tactician: Saizō has repeatedly shown great instincts and intuition in battle. He is generally aware of everything in his presence and also able to see through most deceptions. He was shown to be a highly perceptive fighter, being able to almost immediately determine an opponent's attack patterns and weaknesses. He is also a crafty tactician, frequently using genjutsu to confuse his opponents. He can discern the motives and abilities of his opponents and effectively uses his knowledge to end the battle in his favor.
Master Assassin: as a former ANBU of Konohagakure, Saizō is one of the foremost masters in the art of assassination. He is known to be skillful in staying hidden. Using Silent Killing, he is capable of disabling his opponents without them being able to see him.
Immense Chakra Reserves: Saizō has been shown to possess vast levels of chakra, which, in league with his already admirable combat skills and finesse, makes him one of the most formidable ninjas that Konoha has ever produced. His chakra is said to be so great that it was comparable to a jinchuriki. It is implied by his brother, Kotarō Uchiha, that he is among the few immensely strong members of the battle-excelling Uchiha clan, further elaborating on his power level.

Sharingan

Saizō's Sharingan

Saizō's most distinguishing feature is his sharingan, his clan's Kekkei Genkai. As a true successor of the Uchiha, he has access to all of the sharingan's abilities, offering him incredible clarity of perception in battle. He can also memorise any technique that he witnesses. Similarly, he is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact.

Swordsmanship

Some time after his exile in the Land of Iron, Saizō encountered the fabled swordsman, Mifune, and received lessons in the Way of the Sword from the master himself. Under his tutelage, Saizō became adept in the arts of Iaidō and Kendo. He has since become a swordsman of masterful skill in his own right, able of delivering lethal attacks with flawless precision without much effort
